I'm thrilled to report that The IDEA #6 is now in from production and goes into distribution from today. The Contents & Editorial pages have been posted on my hobby website with the usual dummy links and audio,.. and also all of the little spelling and edit errors that again mark how hectic it got (as always) towards the end. Just for the record here, I'm hoping to update the basic IDEA page itself in a few days, with the expanded story of what's been going on and what's up. Won't e-mail you on that, so pop back again sometime next month or after if you're interested. Also for the record, we have allowed no concessions at all for klutzy computers this time, and the gazette has some pretty heavy pages that may test your patience just a wee tad on some machines. As usual, copies of the CD-gazette will be sent out in a creeping pattern over the half year, with featured-artists being sent their copies first, artists featured on earlier gazettes sent theirs next, and so on down our database. As always, the trapdoor remains open right at the bottom, ever ready to drop out less interesting and less interactive e-artists in lieu of new and more interesting folks on a continuing basis. Not surprisingly, the process now has us networking an absolutely fascinating cross-section of 'Identified' Computer Based Creative Practitioners and associated individuals & organizations around the world on a rich relationship basis. That in turn is something we're looking to now start consolidating into some more "real-world" creative fun 'n' games that we can hopefully all play together into the future. To provide a firm foundation for this however, I'm having to go against an old and powerful "Anti-NGO" personal stand of my own by now looking to launch the "Academy of Electronic Arts" (AeA) as a registered "Society" sometime within the next few weeks. All I can say in my defense here is that I'm being pushed to it because of the ways of the world, but will work hard to always stay clean with this. Several eminent folks from around India and the world have already committed to associating with the enterprise in several ways and I invite you, and everyone and anyone who may be interested, to also join us in this endeavor to make it all eventually add up to something universally wonderful. As you know ~ I'd even really love it if you went ahead and started one of your very own too. For your information, the link to the basic AeA document we're presently working with is at the bottom of the IDEA page, or you can click this link to get there directly . Sorry for the tedious read, and thanks for making it through to the end if you did. As always, I look forward to receiving your response, inputs, suggestions, guidance and continued goodwill, association and support. With best regards ~ Keep well.
