Making Sense of it all

No one seems to know
what to make of all that is happening.
Most pundits & their punditry
are falling flat on their faces.

We heard of impending doom for some,
that never came about (mercifully).
We heard of sunshine industries
that would see unprecedented and
explosive growth.

All we have now is a thoroughly
defeated bunch of New Age entrepreneurs,
on the bankruptcy road.
