Vis-aVis, New Delhi, 1999
One of the more important exhibitions of digital art to have happened in New Delhi near the turn of millennia, was a show put together by the very eminent Vis-a-Vis gallery. This marshalled specially produced works from a spectrum of established artists in various fields of creative endeavour, but was marred somewhat by the sponsors' taking their piece of the pie in the form of a backlit commercial "billboard" hung amongst the artworks in the show, and distribution of their own flyer as the only exhibition catalog.
There is very little direct record of the works exhibited in this event, as a result. Even the small representation of images below is from third-party scans out of a magazine review provided to us by Vis a Vis.
