footnote (added by The IDEA)

"You cannot say much about a tool that you have just confronted. After doing three paintings using a computer, I feel that it is just a humble beginning, a process of getting a little familiar with a technology that provides a million possibilities.

"In fact, the countless possibilities, combinations, effects, that the computer offers - are the very reason why it becomes a difficult tool to use. Because as the temptations increase, it is easy to get carried away. My approach was careful. I didn't want to fall prey to "just playing" with this new "toy". I think experimentation and freaking out are important, but it shouldn't become an immediate infatuation. It should go with my own slow, deliberate artistic vision/process."
